Betty Rice

Betty Sue Rice, 66, Chanute, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. Betty was born in Iola on Aug. 14, 1946, the daughter of Silas and Mary (Smith) Nicholas.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel in Chanute. Burial will follow in Shaw Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family and may be left with the funeral home. Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
