FORT WORTH — Helen Papusch, 93, a longtime children’s Sunday School teacher, went to be with Jesus Thursday, April 5, 2018.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Chapel, Fort Worth.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be sent to Ridglea Presbyterian Church Education Fund Fort Worth, Cancer Center in Arlington, Texas, or charity of choice.

Helen was born Feb. 17, 1925, in Thayer, to Harry and Ola Minnich. On June 2, 1945, she was married to George Papusch at Enid Army Air Base chapel in Enid, Okla. Helen was a member and elder of Ridglea Presbyterian Church, The PWR, and Church Women United. She also belonged to the Republican Women’s Club. She loved the fine arts, especially going to the Fort Worth Symphony, Bass Hall and museums.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Martha Ann Willbanks; husband, George Papusch; her parents and one sister.

Survivors include daughters, Nancy L. Papusch Bass and husband, Russell, Helen Kay Papusch Sylvester and husband, John; son, Richard G. Papusch and wife, Carol; grandchildren, Brendan Willbanks and wife, Erin, Brett Willbanks, and Esther Sylvester; and great-grandchildren Victoria Faith Bass, Micah William Bass and Harrison Willbanks.
