Jimmie Dowell

Jimmie R. Dowell, a self-employed subcontractor, died Friday, Feb.  5, 2010, at the age of 45.
He is  survived by his mother, Huleta Dowel, Wichita; brothers, Bill, Gene, Richard  and his wife, Shelia, and Mike  and his wife, Patricia, all of Wichita; sisters, Rita Hawkins, Wichita, Joyce and her husband, Duane Mikesell, Derby, Patricia Brustrom, Cave City, Ark., Theresa Dowell and her husband, John, Atlantic Beach, Fla., Barbara and her husband, Martin Reents, Hope Well, Va., Carolyn and her husband, Charles Goodson, and Tonya and her husband, Michael Carver, Wichita; 39 nieces  and nephews; 48 great-nieces and nephews; one great-great-niece; and goddaughter, Kalyn Graves.
His father, Toney  Dowell, brother-in-law, Timothy Carver, and a niece, Chasity Dowell, died earlier.
Services were this morning at Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Rd., in Wichita. Burial was this afternoon in Highland Cemetery in Iola.
