Rolland DeWayne Guder, 65, Bronson, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017, east of Moran.
Rolland was born Oct. 19, 1951, in Fort Scott, to Everett V. and Dollene J. (Talbott) Guder. He graduated from Uniontown High School and joined the Kansas Army National Guard, where he served for two years. Following his service, he studied drafting at Pittsburg State University. He later worked for a time as a draftsman in Wichita, and then as a soil conservationist for several years for Bourbon County. He later spent his time working on the family farm.
Rolland loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He collected antiques, and was always on the lookout for the next unique item.
Rolland is survived by his mother, Dollene Guder, Iola, his brother Gary Guder, Moran, his sister Rhonda Hunt and Ron Helman, Iola, his niece Nicole Call and husband Ryan, Loveland, Colo., and their son, Jaggar.
He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Guder.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Moran. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Mildred. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
