Ronald Vernon Hale, 90, rural Savonburg, died Monday, March 10, 2014, at his home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Savonburg Bible Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, where military honors will be provided by the Moran VFW.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Savonburg Community Center. Memorials are suggested to either the Salvation Army or Allen County Hospice and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Fort Scott, KS 66701.
