Wanda Nevans
Wanda Nevans, 66, Iola, passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at her home.
She was born Sept. 2, 1946, at St. John’s, Newfoundland. On April 14, 1979, she married Tom Nevans and they made their home in Iola.
Wanda and her husband owned and operated the County Seat Restaurant in Iola for 10 years. She then worked for Community National Bank until recently retiring.
She was an avid NASCAR fan.
Survivors are her husband Tom; one son, B.J. Nevans of Gardner, and a sister, Avian Giguere, Belton.
Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be held at a later date.
Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola, assisted the family.
