HUMBOLDT — Humboldt High’s softball season keeps roaring forward. The Lady Cubs held Yates Center to a shutout in two games on Monday night.

In the next inning, Richey hit a triple. Jaci Ross hit her in for the RBI on a fielder’s choice to give the Lady Cubs a 5-0 lead. Umholtz added another run in the sixth inning with an inside-the-park home run.
