Red Devil men upset Hutchinson at home

The Allen County men had their biggest win of the season when they took down No. 11 Hutchinson Wednesday night 87-86.
The Red Devils ran hot from behind the arc, hitting 17 of 32 threes in the game and were led by sophomore Tyler Williams who had 23 points including six threes.
Sophomore Jordan Marshall had 17 points, freshman Rayce Hoepker had 15 points and freshman Perry Carroll had 13 points and eight assists.
Allen County led by three at the half and extended their lead to near double-digits before the Blue Dragons came storming back to take a seven-point lead.
The Red Devils kept fighting and with a minute to play, the game was tied. Sophomore Jacob Patterson went to the line after being fouled after an offensive rebound. He made one of two to give Allen County a one-point lead.
The Red Devils missed the front-end of two straight one-and-one opportunities and with 1.6 seconds left to play, Hutch had the ball. They missed the half court shot and the Red Devils won.
The Allen County men are now 8-20 and 6-18 in conference play. The win is their second in a row.

THE LADY Devils fell to the No. 23 Hutchinson women, 82-48. 
The loss moves them to 6-22 and 4-20 in conference play.
Freshman Jakira Wilson had 12 points and sophomore Kamri Summons had 10. Allen County turned the ball over 18 times,  recording eight assists. They also made just two threes in the game.
The teams will head to Concordia on Saturday to face Cloud County before returning home on Monday for their final game of the season versus Pratt.
