Scott Alan and Beth Ann Snethen, of Ottawa, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Grace Kathryn Snethen to Todd James Crosley, son of Daryl and Tracy Morris Crosley, of Pomona.
Grace is an honors graduate of Ottawa High School, Neosho County Community College / Ottawa Campus, and PACE / Premier Academy of Cosmetology and Esthetics, as well as passing her state Certified Nursing Assistant exams.
She was class valedictorian, recipient of the Summa Cum Laude Medallion and Honor Cords, was a member of National Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Student Government, OHS Letterman Club, ran cross country, and was a national award-winning competitive dancer at Spotlight Dance Academy and on OHS Cyclonettes Dance Team.
Grace was crowned the title winner of Miss Dance Out and Miss KAR, was a principle en pointe dancer in The Nutcracker Ballet throughout high school, and was a member of the Junior Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleading Performance Squad. She is employed at Rejuvenate MedSpa in Gardner and Exclusive Salon and Day Spa in Ottawa.
Todd is a graduate of Ottawa High School and Missouri Valley JATC Journeyman Lineman School. In school, he was the recipient of the Magna Cum Laude Medallion and Honor Cords, was a member of OHS Letterman Club, on the OHS Cyclones Baseball Team, the Ottawa American Legion Baseball Team, on the OHS Fishing Team and in OutCast Bass Club, in Future Farmers of America, and threw the discus in Track and Field.
Todd was the Kansas State Runner-Up at Kansas High Schools Bassmaster Championship, was named to the 2d Team Kansas All-State Bass Fishing Team, and was the 1st Place Winner for KBN (Kansas BASS Nation) at Milford.
Todd was also a Kansas State Degree Recipient in FFA, the highest honor that the Kansas FFA Association can bestow on a member who has shown outstanding leadership, academics, and community involvement. He is employed as a lineman and is a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers / IBEW Local Union #53.
Grace is the granddaughter of Charles and Michelle Percy Johnson and of Ron and Carolyn Griffin Snethen. She is the great-granddaughter of Jeanne Ann Masterson Percy and the late William Glenn “Curly” Percy, and of the late Richard and Lois Spring Griffin, and of Larry Jean and Cora Jean Horn Hensiek.
Todd is the grandson of Larry and Charlotte Crosley and Dennis and Luella Morris. He is the great-grandson of Wyon and Betty Smith.
The wedding will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026 at The Life Mission Church in Ottawa, with a reception, dinner, and dance to follow at the Ottawa Municipal Auditorium, where the bride-elect grew up performing on the stage.
