Pastor Steve Traw titled his sermon “Relationships” using Matthew 7:7-12 as his background scripture. He discussed things that count with God.
Verse 7 states, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Verse 12 continues, “Therefore, whatever you want men to do you do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”
God provides whatever we are not able to provide. Jesus loves us as we should love others. Believers extend friendship to others and repeat prayers. Generosity comes from God. We love God because he loved us first. The Bible tells us to be persistent in prayer — faith is shown through repeated prayer.
Six hymns were shared and accompanied by Myrna Wilschuetz as pianist and Kay Compton as song leader. The Food Pantry would like donations of non-perishables items to be donated.
