Sunday’s service began with those attending listening to a patriotic tune, “Statue of Liberty,” in honor of the upcoming Fourth of July celebration. Now is a good time to pray for our nation with so much turmoil in the world. Remember the Book of Revelation, tells us he will return for true believers.

Independence for us came at a great cost to our forefathers, families and loved ones. John 8:36 tells us, “If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.” Thank you to all the brave veterans and their families who served honorably.

Image consultants can help you change your appearance, hair, clothes, and speaking ability, but a true change needs to be in your heart to be more Christ-like. That is where you find eternal life. Put on Christ so people can see you are a true Christian, who you are and who you continue to be. Christ knows what’s best for you.

Transform your mind and seek to know and share good news around you — let it show. Never outgrow reading and studying the Bible. Be all you can be and serve him, seek him daily to the best of your ability.

Remember to bring nonperishable items to the food pantry.
