Iolan Tim Osborn snapped this photo of the aftermath of Super Bowl LIV Sunday evening in Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, in which the Kansas City Chiefs defeated San Francisco, 31-20, for the Chiefs’ first NFL title since 1970. Osborn, a lifelong Chiefs fan, had been a season ticket  holder for 25 years, and still attends several games a year.

“This was the ultimate away trip,” he said in an email. Osborn  went solo after wife Barbara was unable to go because of work commitments.

“To be honest, I thought we were in trouble after the second interception,” he wrote. “The 49ers defense was giving us a lot of trouble. After the third-and-15 pass to Hill I thought we couldwin if we scored on that drive, which we did. I guess I should have known we would after the two previous playoff games.”

Kansas City became the first team in NFL history to come back from double-digit deficits in three straight playoff games to win a Super Bowl.
