Iola Public Library’s March board meeting featured a changing of the guard, with board members Elaine Stewart and Katrina Springer stepping down, while Terri Fahnestock, a communications instructor at Allen Community College, took her oath of office.
Springer had served on the board since 2016 and was president for the last eight years; Stewart became a board member in 2018 and was treasurer until last year. As a token of appreciation, Iola Public Library Director Sharon Moreland gave the two pottery dishes she had created.
