The parents of Jenna Rogers, Prairie Villiage, and Eric Sparks, Iola, announce the couples engagement and pending marriage.
Jenna and Eric will be married Sept. 1, 2018, at Powell Gardens, Kingsville, Mo.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kathy Rogers, Leawood, and Randy Rogers, Kirks-ville, Mo. She is a 2005 Lees Summit (Mo.) High School graduate. She graduated from Missouri State University in 2009 and the Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2014 with a doctor of dental surgery degree. She works at Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., as a pediatric dental resident.
The groom-elect is the son of Iolans Terry and Cheryl Sparks. He is a 2007 Iola High School graduate. He graduated from Eporia State Univresity in 2012 with a bachelor of science degree in education. He works as a special education instructor at Humboldt Middle School, and will begin working in the fall at Hocker Grove Middle School in Shawnee.
