With Valentine’s Day around the corner, the Register is sponsoring a love story contest.
We’re looking for romantic, funny, sad or disastrous love stories out there. It could be your own or that of a friend, a tale of love at first sight, or a first date where everything went wrong. After all, that’s love.
Those who send stories will be entered to win one of three prizes.
First place wins a night at Experience the Lofts of Iola. Second place is a $50 gift certificate for dinner at Sam & Louie’s, and third place is a Valentine’s bouquet from Duane’s Flowers.
Email your story to [email protected] by noon Friday, Feb. 12. Stories can be a few sentences to several paragraphs.
