The Sunday meeting of the Iola City Slickers 4-H Club was called to order by Vice President Isaac Hopkins.

Fifteen members and one leader answered roll call with “something you are thankful for.” Carly Dreher led us in “If You’re Happy and You Know It.” Leah Mueller gave the 4-H Council report and told us that the theme for the 2019 Allen County Fair will be “Family Game Night” and the club chose Monopoly as its theme game.

Shelby Shaughnessy explained how to address the chairman for our parliamentary lesson. Club leader Robbie Grisier reminded members that 2019 4-H enrollment is due by Dec. 1. The club will ring bells for Salvation Army and voted to adopt a child during the holidays. In honor of Veterans Day, Brody Nemecek led the club in a game of Ships & Sailors.
