Allen County 911 Communications Center’s education program received a combined, $7,810 in contributions in recent weeks.

To date, the program has reached more than 10,000 students since its inception in 2010.

The program’s growth has allowed the education program to expand from kindergarten through third grade to include fourth-graders, 911 director Angie Murphy explained.

A $3,810 grant from Enbridge will pay for a pair of staffers to attend a national educators conference, Murphy said.
