The job as public works director doesn’t earn many compliments, but they were being dished in Mitch Garner’s direction during the Allen County commission meeting on Monday morning.

Commissioner Bill King complimented county crews for their work they did on the Moran ambulance station, saying the site looks very nice. Commissioner Jerry Daniels applauded Garner’s crews for work done on roads.

“I have heard several people talking about the work done just south of Humboldt and everyone is very pleased,” Daniels said. “Now they just want to know when the other half of the work will be done.”
