The Iola High track team won the Class 4A championship at the state track meet in Wichita this past weekend. ***** Five area students won William Preston and Belvah McFadden scholarships which will provide each $3,500 a year for two years if they attend a Kansas Regents university and maintain good grades. They are: Kendra Hanson, Tom Madison and Heath Sigg of Iola; David Ard of Moran and Kevin Bishop of Humboldt.
