Joyce Lee, left, and her granddaughter, Tai Lee, both of LaHarpe, won first and second prize, respectively, in the pie baking division of the Allen County Fair. Joyce used Gala apples, while Tai used Granny Smith. Tai said she learned how to make pies from her grandmother.
