Iola High Schools Elysia Kunkler zipped her way to a berth in the upcoming state track meet by winning the 100-meter hurdles and long jump at Fridays Class 4A Regional Track Meet in Eudora. Kunkler also qualified in both the 100-meter dash and 300-meter hurdles. Elka Billings, right, qualified in the 800-meter run. A full rundown of area track athletes begins on Page B1. The state track meet runs Friday and Saturday at Wichita State Universitys Cessna Stadium. A pep rally for Kunkler and Billings is planned for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rookies in Iola.
