Tracy L. Vest, 40, LaHarpe, died Saturday night when the vehicle in which she was riding rolled along U.S. 169 two miles north of Humboldt.
Vest was a passenger in a 2002 Explorer driven by Kelsey Marie Vest, 16, LaHarpe. The younger Vest swerved to miss a deer and lost control of the vehicle.
The driver and another passenger, Matthew Alexander Lafferty, 17, Humboldt, were taken to Allen County Hospital, where they were treated for injuries.
According to the Highway Patrol, Kelsey Vest and Lafferty were wearing seat belts and Tracy Vest was not.
Funeral services will be announced later by Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapels in Iola.
