Allen Community College and Pittsburg State University have created a new pathway for students to pursue a degree in technology management.

The articulation agreement, signed Monday in Wichita,  allows students who complete a technical associate degree at Allen — including associate of arts, associate of science, or associate of applied science — to transfer up to 60 credit hours toward the PSU degree. Students will then complete the remaining 60 hours online through Pittsburg State to receive a bachelor of applied science degree with an emphasis on technology management.

The agreement requires students to maintain a minimum of 2.0 grade point average at both colleges.

“This partnership opens doors for our students to continue their education in a flexible, accessible format while building on the strong academic foundation they receive at Allen,” Dr. Lyvier Leffler, ACC president, said in a press release.
