Parsons OKs data center option

City commissioners approved a six-month option for HyperDatagrid to explore building a data center in Parsons.

PARSONS — Parsons city commissioners unanimously approved govomg HyperDatagrid a six-month purchase option to build a data center in town.

“In six months, if we don’t like it, we can walk away,” said Commissioner Verlyn Bolinger, reported The Parsons Sun.

The vote gives an initial six months for the data center to investigate the feasibility of building in Parsons.
