‘Bea’ Johnson

Beatrice “Bea” Johnson, 83, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2010, at her home in McMinnville, Ore., following a battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and cancer.
She was born April 1, 1927, in Copeland, to Jesse Franklin and Martha Mamie Walker. She was one of 11 children.
She liked to work in her rose garden and collect angels.
Survivors include her husband Perry of 61 years, a brother, Pete Walker, a son, Robert, a daughter, Debra Johnson, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Chaplain Lloyd Houk will conduct memorial services at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel.  Burial will follow at a later date in Bronson Cemetery.
