Funeral services for Pearl Green of Colony, whose death Wednesday was reported in Wednesday’s Register, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel in Colony. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Mildred. 
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Colony. 
Green was born Aug. 24, 1914, in Elkhart to Charles Albert and Grace Mabel (Robinson) Riley. She attended Pleasant Ridge School northwest of Kincaid. 
On July 18, 1931, she married Irel Albert “Feenie” Green in Garnett. They made their home in Kincaid and Colony. She was a homemaker and worked as a rural mail carrier. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Kincaid Baptist Church.
The couple enjoyed spending time at their cabin at Grand Lake of the Cherokees in Oklahoma with their sons. She enjoyed crocheting, making afghans and gardening. He died in 1989.
She is survived by two sons, Gary, Topeka, and Gilbert and his wife, Kathy, Colony; a sister, Evelyn Hickenbottom, California; four grandchildren, Felicia Benjamin, Tony Benjamin, Andy Benjamin and Austin Green; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Three brothers, Albert, Lonnie and Vernon Riley, and two sisters, Letha McBride and Martha Meeder, died earlier.
