Jacqueline Suson “Jackie” Avery, 67, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at her home in Shidler, Okla.
She was born Nov. 12, 1942, in Nowata, Okla., the daughter of Norma Bell and Bruce Paris Sr. She grew up in Burden and later moved to Iola where she worked in nursing. She moved to Kansas City, Mo., and in 2009 to Shidler. She attended the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her six children, Bob Chaffin, Arkansas, David Avery, Bartlesville, Okla., Anita Vandaford, Kansas City, Mo., Naoma Kilgore, Webb City, Okla., Matt Avery, Eureka, and Chet Avery, Independence, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dee Dee Harper and Beverly Widner, and a brother, Bruce Paris Jr., all of Oklahoma.
A sister, Lola Casbolt, died earlier.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Nardin Methodist Church in Nardin, Okla.
