HUMBOLDT — Kylee Carson found another home for her softball skills. The Humboldt High senior has signed a letter of intent to play softball at Neosho County Community College next year.

“I visited both Neosho and Allen and decided Neosho was a better fit for me. I felt at home there,” Carson told the Register.

Carson is Humboldt’s returning first baseman and is the power in the Lady Cubs’ lineup. Helping the Lady Cubs get to the 2011 Kansas Class 2-1A State Tournament, Carson had a .523 batting average with 34 hits. She had 14 doubles, one triple and three home runs.
