BURLINGTON — It’s easier to list the events the Iola Middle School eighth-grade boys did not win Thursday at the Burlington Middle School track meet.
The eighth-grade Pony boys won every race but the hurdles and two relay races. They won going away with 72 points. Humboldt was a distant second, 26 points, in the division.
Iola’s seventh-grade girls won the battle with host Burlington for their division title. Iola had 46 points to Burlingtons 45.
The IMS seventh-grade boys finished second to Burlington, which had 47 points to Iola’s 30. Iola’s eighth-grade girls were fourth with 11 points as Burlington won that division with 58 points.
