HUMBOLDT After the rain that plagued Southeast Kansas over the past week, Rodney Sanders brought a little sunshine to Humboldt Speedway as the Happy, Texas driver took the McCarthy Auto Group A-Modified feature.
Sanders, starting outside the pole, inherited the lead after Mayettas Darron Fuqua lost power on lap five. Sanders outpaced the field on his way to the $1,000 victory. Heat race wins went to Matt Johnson, Tyler Davis and Darron Fuqua.
In Rays Metal Depot B-Mod action, Fort Scott driver Andy Bryant took the nights victory and the mid-season championship.
