Multiple area schools hastily rescheduled Tuesday’s contests following a bout of rain pouring through the area.
Iola High School officials called Tuesday’s baseball and softball games early in the evening. The Mustangs rescheduled their baseball game against Pioneer League foe Wellsville for Wednesday; results were not available by press time. Officials rescheduled the softball game against Wellsville to next Thursday.
Yates Center High School officials also rescheduled the baseball and softball team’s non-league contests against Marais Des Cygnes Valley. The baseball team will face MDCV on the road Monday, May 11 and the softball team will play the following day.
