The Humboldt volleyball team rewrote parts of their record book on Saturday at the Neodesha Invitational.

The Lady Cubs placed second in the tournament with a 3-2 record but the most notable things happened in their three-set win over Baxter Springs.

Each set was close and high-scoring with the Lady Cubs taking set one 30-28 before falling in set two 25-23 and coming back to take set three 28-26. During the sets, senior Aricah McCall went off offensively, registering 24 kills, the most kills ever recorded by one Lady Cub in a match.
