ARKANSAS CITY — Bryce Williams cranked out a three-run home run and Curtis Bunch followed with a solo blast to put Allen County Community College up 4-1 in the second inning of Tuesday’s second game.
The Red Devils wanted to forget about the first game — a 17-7 loss to host Cowley County Community College. The Tigers scored 11 runs on six hits, three walks, two hit batters and an ACCC error in the first inning of that game.
Allen County’s lead didn’t last long in the second contest. The Tigers produced four runs of their own in the second inning to push back in front, 5-4.
