The Southern Coffey County boys are headed to Hays.
After defeating St. Paul 56-41 in the 1A-DI Sub-State championship Saturday evening, the 19-4 Titans are state-bound.
SCC led early but trailed St. Paul headed into the fourth quarter. The Titans outscored the Indians 22-9 down the stretch to secure the title.
SCC, who is the fourth-seed, will open up the state tournament on Wednesday versus fifth-seed St. John-Hudson (18-5).
The Southern Coffey girls also competed in the Sub-State championship on Saturday but fell to the St. Paul girls 57-20.
Tip-off for the Titan boys is set for Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays.
