UNIONTOWN — Southern Coffey County High’s boys picked up another win Tuesday, while the Lady Titans came up short in their respective road games at Uniontown.
The SCC boys improved to 14-5 with a 71-45 win over host Uniontown.
The SCC girls dropped a 56-43 loss to the Lady Eagles, to fall to 6-13.
“We struggled to stop Uniontown in the first half,” SCC head coach Jeff True said. “The girls did a much better job on both ends in the second half.”
The Lady Titans trailed by 24 at one point before cutting the margin to eight with 2 1/2 minutes remaining.
“But we couldn’t get any closer,” True said. “I was pleased with the girls’ effort,” True said. “They didn’t give up.”

No further details were available from the boys’ game.
