Ann Marie Powell, Iola, and Brandon Alexander Eckly, Farmington, N.M., announce their engagement to be married. The couple will be united in marriage on June 20, 2015, at Shawnee Lake in Topeka.
Ann is the daughter of Robert Powell and Baunetta Price Powell, Iola. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Betty Powell, Iola, and Melvin and Mary Price, Iola.
Ann is employed at Emprise Bank in Humboldt and plans to continue her education.
Brandon is the son of James and the late Andrea Eckly, Firestone, Colo., and Matt Richards, Denver, Colo., and the late Brandy Burgett.
Brandon has a degree in graphics and printing.
