Tanner Dean Johnson and Katie Baska were united in marriage on Jan. 20, 2023.
The late afternoon outdoor ceremony was held in the gardens of the historic Miami County Courthouse in Paola.
Tanner is the son of Charles and Michelle Johnson of Ottawa and Gary and Dawn Cameron of Williamsburg. He’s the stepgrandson of Janne Ann Percy of Iola and the late William Glenn Percy.
Katie is the daughter of Ben and Sarah Baska of Wellsville.
Honored guests also at the wedding were the grandparents of the groom, Larry and Cora Hensiek of Ottawa and Buddy and Barb Griffin of Williamsburg and the grandparents of the bride.
The groom’s attendant was his father, Charles Johnson. The bride’s attendant was her sister, Morgan Baska of Iola.
Tanner is a graduate of Central Heights High School in Richmond and works as a crew head at the City of Gardner. Katie studied fire science at Hutchinson Community College and paramedicine at Johnson County Community College.
The newlyweds are at home in Edgerton.
