The Iola Amateur Radio Club held its monthly meeting Thursday at Iola City Hall with four members in attendance.
Topics discussed included the next paper drive, set for November, upcoming ham fests in Belton, Mo., on Saturday, Oct. 27 in Kirkwood, Mo., and Nov. 3 in Independence, Mo.
Club members discussed at their Sept. 11 meeting participation in events recently in Joplin and Wichita.
The next IARC meeting will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at City Hall.
