Iola Fire Department crews were quick to respond to a fire Friday mid-morning at 1504 E. Carpenter St., Iola. A storage shed caught ablaze while residents were demolishing it. Kenneth Powell, deputy chief for Iola Fire Department, said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
