Chelsea Holman, Pittsburg, and Travis Buck, Iola, announce their engagement and pending marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron and Kindith Holman of Iola and a 2011 Iola High School and Allen County Community College graduate. She is a nursing student at Pittsburg State University.
The groom-elect is the son of Dr. Larry and Janet Buck of Iola and a 2009 graduate of Crest High School. He studied criminal justice at Fort Scott Community College and will attend Pittsburg State University in the fall. He is serving with the Kansas Army National Guard in the Republic of Djibouti in East Africa.
The couple will be married June 2 at the First Christian Church in Iola.
