Grace Lutheran LWML heard a report about the Higher Things youth conference at their Nov. 1 meeting at the church. Santification was the theme for the conference, held July 24-27 at the University of Kansas campus. Callie and Jorja Murcko gave a presentation on their experiences and activities at the conference. There were about 950 youth in attendance.
Members also reviewed the Halloween Trunk and Treat event, with no changes made.
They finalized plans for this years Soup, Bake & Bargains, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
The next meeting is Dec. 6 to decorate the church for Christmas.
