National safety leader

Allen County 911 director Angie Murphy has successfully completed the APCO Institute’s of public-safety leaders program. The certification completes a 12-month effort through The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO). The achievement places Murphy on the dispatch organization’s national registry of public safety leaders, according to the organization’s news release. Murphy will be recognized at APCO’s national conference in August in Maryland.
