Arrests reported
Titan C. Michael, 23, Piqua, was arrested Saturday by Allen County sheriff’s deputies for suspected driving while intoxicated following an incident a mile west of Humboldt.
On Wednesday, deputies arrested Cristofer J. Holland, 32, Chanute, on four warrants for failing to appear in court on assorted possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a controlled substance, violating a protection order, violating the Offender Registration Act and driving while suspended charges.
Samantha J. Wehmeier, 31, Chanute, was arrested by deputies April 7 on a warrant alleging theft.
Deputies arrested Travis W. Leftwich, 46, rural Iola, April 7 on a probation revocation warrant stemming from a methamphetamine possession charge out of Osage County.
Sally L. Lushbough, 26, Iola, was arrested April 5 for suspicion of domestic battery following an investigation stemming from an incident in the 300 block of South Taylor Street in LaHarpe, deputies reported.
Deputies arrested Brett D. Daniel, 35, Chanute, April 4 for a pair of Allen County warrants for failing to appear on possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia charges, deputies said.
Driver arrested after crash
Sheriff’s deputies investigating a crash on the north side of Humboldt Hill, along Old 169 at Maryland Road, wound up arresting Taylor J. Evans, 30, Humboldt, for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
Deputies said Evans lost control of his vehicle as he attempted to turn onto Maryland, when he struck a stop sign, a road sign and then became high-centered on a culvert.
Evans was wearing his seat belt and was not injured.
Dog attack reported
Alexandria Ludlum told Allen County sheriff’s deputies Saturday that a dog had attacked her at a residence about a mile and half northeast of Moran.
Ludlum was treated at Allen County Regional Hospital.
The dog’s owner was identified, deputies said.
Vehicle struck
Virgil Wertz was slowing to turn from U.S. 54 onto McRae Street in Gas Wednesday when his vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Joshua Granere.
The impact knocked Wertz’s vehicle into a stop sign, deputies said.
Both drivers said they were wearing seat belts, deputies reported. Wertz was taken in a private vehicle to Allen County Regional HospitaL
