Youngsters attending school at USD 257 have an opportunity to take a memorable ride to class on the last day of school.
The Iola CITF/PRIDE Committee is hosting a Fun Ride Auction for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
Parents are invited to bid on rides for such vehicles as a fire truck, police car, the Fearless Fred Trolley, antique convertible or tractor. Ten such unique vehicles are up for grabs.
Bidding will be done via the CITF/PRIDE Facebook page, by placing bids in the comment section of the photos of the vehicles students wish to ride.
Bidding runs through April 30.
Winning bidders for the Kiwanis Train or Fearless Fred rides will get to invite five or 10 fellow students to join them.
