CONCORDIA — Kohl Endicott, a 2015 Iola High School and 2018 Cloud County Community College graduate, has completed added certification for unmanned aircraft systems for use with wind energy blade repair. The certification allows Endicott to use an unmanned drone to inspect blade damage, his mother explained.

Several other area students have earned collegiate honors. Humboldt’s Tanna Tribble was named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2018 semester at Kirkwood (Iowa) Community College in Cedar Rapids. The designation goes to students who maintain a 3.3 grade-point average.

In Pittsburg, Landon Stephens, a mechanical engineering technology and automotive technology student at Pittsburg State University, earned Cum Laude honors for the spring 2018 semester. The Kincaid student earned the designation by maintaining a grade-point average of over 3.85 on a 4-point scale.
