Sherri Despain, a flight instructor at Allen County Airport, was arrested Sunday for aggravated assault.
Officers responded to a report of a woman being in the process of retrieving a gun to shoot the reporting party.
Officers said their investigation revealed that Despain had argued with a student and threatened to shoot him. Several guns were removed from Despain’s residence at the airport.
