For more than 50 years, the Bowlus Fine Arts Center has brought waves of entertainment to Allen County and the surrounding areas.
The centers history will be brought under the spotlight at 7 p.m. Tuesday, when Morans Larry Manes, an Allen County Historical Society member, will discuss the iconic buildings origins. The presentation will include the centers construction, opening and notable events, up to today.
After the lecture, the Mary L. Martin Gallery will be open to the public to view Anastacia Drakes artwork one last time before it is returned to Drake. The exhibit features one-of-a-kind artwork, including a few pieces she created just for the Bowlus.
