Daniel Kays, executive director of the Bowlus Fine Arts Center, gave season ticket holders a preview of the 2019-20 season Saturday night at the Allen County Country Club. In an effort to reach the student-age population, especially, Kays has introduced a Family Series that will include magicians, musicians, acrobats and stunt dogs. I want to make sure students have an opportunity to come see something at the Bowlus and to make it a part of their lives, he told a crowd of about 75. A colorful flyer promoting the season was mailed to more than 23,000 households across seven counties. We want to be known as the venue for entertainment for Southeast Kansas. Discount prices for season tickets begin Aug. 5. Look for a preview of the season in this Saturdays Register. For more information visit www.bowluscenter.org.
