Iola City Administrator Sid Fleming will leave his post in March.
Flemings resignation announcement was given last week in a private meeting with Iola City Council members.
Fleming, who has been in Iola for the past 3½ years, has been hired as city manager in Paola.
Ive certainly enjoyed my time in Iola, and my family has enjoyed it here, Fleming told the Register this morning.
His tenure has brought about a number of significant if not glamorous changes to Iolas infrastructure.
