A laughing Jesus and a joking jester? Not the images youd expect to see in church on Sunday morning unless its Holy Humor Sunday.
Wesley United Methodist Church, 301 E. Madison Ave., will host the event at 9:15 a.m. Sunday in the church sanctuary. Guests are invited to come for the jokes and hilarity and stay for the coffee and fellowship following the service.
Iolas United Methodist Churches offer a time for musicians, choir and worship leaders to let down their hair and have some fun, according to a church press release. Funny songs, jokes and gags are shared. Guests are welcome to bring their favorite church joke to share.
